Douwe (Feike 395 x Gradus 356) was born on April 15, 2009.
He is full brother to Bente, our 2008 1e premie, champion colt. Douwe exhibits the same wonderful temperment as Bente,
along with an upright neck. This colt was imprinted at birth and is handled daily. He loves attention and
grooming (including his baths!), and stands well for the vet and farrier. Douwe has started to play the Parelli
seven games, and thinks dragging the blue tarp around and jumping barrels is loads of fun!

Douwe was awarded 2e premie, with almost perfect scores
for conformation and type at the 2009 New England Keuring. In addition to his exceptionally beautiful face, Douwe exhibits
wonderful movement and suspension at all three gaits. With his willing and winning attitude, Douwe will excel at
dressage, pleasure riding or driving.
